How would aspital outlay funds be divided? <br />D, Must Orange Ccunty School Budget be approved by Alamance County Board <br />of Commissioners? <br />Must Orange County Board of Commissioners approve Alamanae County <br />School Budget2 <br />E, What assurance would Orange County have that funds allocated for <br />benefit of Orange County atudeata be expended for their benefit? <br />F. Would a portion of Alamance County Debt Service obligation be due <br />by Orange County? <br />In view of these and many more auestions the Board of Commissioners advised <br />Representative Smith that they were opposed to the bill in question. The Board <br />requested Representative Smith to do the following: <br />I, Secure a delay in final consideration of this bill before the House _ <br />Committee on Local Government in order that the Orange County Board <br />of Education might see if it and Alamance County Board of Education <br />could reach an agreement over schools these children might attend, <br />II, Exercise every effort he could to see that this bill received an - <br />unfavorable report from the Committee on Local Government. <br />III, If item #2 above failed then see iP the bill could ba amended to expressly <br />indicate no financial consideration would move from Orange County to <br />Alamanoe County as a result of these students attending school in Alamance <br />County, <br />There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was <br />adjourned, <br />Harvey D. " <br />Members Present: Chairman Hareey D, Bennett and Commissioners William C. Ray, <br />Henry S. Walker, Ira A. Ward and Norman Walker. <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />
