MINUTES OF THE ORANGE COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />June 27, 1966 <br />455 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in special.session on Monday, <br />June 27, 1966, at 7:30 p.m. in the Commissioners room at the courthouse in <br />Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br />Members present: Chairman Harvey Bennett, Commissioners Gordon Cleveland, <br />William C. Ray and Carl M. Smith. <br />Members absent: Commissioner Henry S. Walker. <br />This meeting was held for the purpose of budget discussion with the members of <br />the Orange County Welfare Board and Tom Ward, Welfare Director. Discussion <br />ensued concerning the proposed welfare budget. No action was taken. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board said meeting was <br />adjourned to meet again on Tuesday, June 28, 19662 at 9:30 a.m. in the <br />Commissioners room at the courthouse as a Board of Equalization and Review. <br />Harvey D. Bennett, Commissioners Gordon B. Cleveland, <br />and William C. Ray. <br />Members absent: Commissioners Carl M. Smith and Henry S.
