Introductions and Announcements <br /> 3.Approval of Minutes—April 8, 2025. The minutes were approved. <br /> Director's Report <br /> 4. Fit Lot Update-Waiting for permit from Town to schedule ribbon cutting and official <br /> opening. <br /> 5. Presentation of All Ages All Stages Multi-Sector Aging Plan at the LTSS Medicaid <br /> Conference—June 4-Janice will be presenting. <br /> 6. Staff Updates— <br /> Seymour Center Evening Part-time Facility Assistant— Matthew McCauley. He <br /> previously worked at Carol Woods and has security experience. <br /> DME Program Assistant interviews scheduled for next week- 10 applications were <br /> submitted. <br /> 7. Summer Fan Distribution - starting in June. <br /> 8.Volunteer Appreciation Event—June 4 from 4-6—Seymour Center. <br /> 9. ENCORE Sentimental Journey Singers pilot project kickoff— May 28 1-2:30 p.m. Seymour <br /> Center. East Chapel Hill High School Voices singing group has a concert this Saturday at <br /> 7:30 night and the music represents the journey of dementia. <br /> Jon shared an event this Thursday at 3: Intergenerational drumming, dancing, "Art Across <br /> the Ages." <br /> 10. Lots of great summer events are scheduled. Review the new issue Endless Possibilities <br /> for a full listing of programs. <br /> New Business <br /> 11. FY 25-26 Budget Updates <br /> a. Administration for Community Living Funding: Area Agency on Aging-Janice is <br /> meeting with them next week to learn about any updates regarding funding. Press <br /> release from Secretary Kennedy said Older Americans Act funding should be in place <br /> but we have not gotten anything specifically. <br />
