White Cross Fire District <br /> Fund Balance Request <br /> PURPOSE : To approve budget , grant , and capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year IL <br /> 2023 -24 . <br /> BACKGROUND : <br /> Department of Environment , Agriculture , Parks and Recreation <br /> 1 . The County is updating its internal process of recognizing grant awards for the <br /> I <br /> Conservation Easement and the Lands Legacy projects within the Department of <br /> Environment , Agriculture , Parks and Recreation . In the past , the County anticipated 50 % <br /> grant reimbursement in advance of specific projects being approved and awarded . To <br /> improve internal tracking , Grant Revenue Match Funding will be removed from the project <br /> and subsequently recorded when the match funding has been awarded . The department <br /> will continue to aggressively pursue grant funding to match County funding .
