Year-to-Date Budget Kirk Vaughn, (919) 245-2153 <br /> Summary <br /> PURPOSE: To approve budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year <br /> 2023-24. <br /> County Manager's Office <br /> 1. The Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC) has received $45,147 in additional State <br /> Arts Grant Funds. Funds are to be used to support OCAC programming and granted to <br /> Grassroots applicants, operating as 501(c)(3) arts organizations, based on criteria <br /> approved by the State. These funds are authorized in the Visitors Bureau Fund, outside of <br /> the General Fund. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goals are <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> • GOAL: FOSTER A COMMUNITY CULTURE THAT REJECTS OPPRESSION <br /> AND INEQUITY <br /> The fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race or <br /> color; religious or philosophical beliefs; sex, gender or sexual orientation; national <br /> origin or ethnic background; age; military service; disability; and familial, residential <br /> or economic status. <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> Criminal Justice Resources <br /> 2. The Criminal Justice Resources Department has received $550 in donations from the <br /> Orange County Bail Bond Justice Project and a public donation to assist with client <br /> transportation and other client needs for use in FY 2023-24. This budget amendment <br /> provides for the receipt of these additional funds in the General Fund. <br />
