C., in <br />special session for the purpose of beginning the 1961 - 62 budget sessions. <br />Members present: Chairman Donald Stanford, Commissioners Harvey Bennett, <br />Clarence D. Jones, Donald McDade and Henry Walker. <br />Members absent: None <br />Budgets of the following agencies or departments were considered: <br />The Farm Fund <br />The Sheriff's Office <br />The Dog Warden <br />The Veterans Service Office <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m. to meet again on Thursday, June 15th. <br />Donald Stanford, Chairman <br />S. Gattis, Acting Clerk <br />------------------------------------------------'--------_-----------_----_- <br />Minutes of the Board of Commissioners <br />June 15, 1961 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissions met on Thursday, June 15, 1961, at <br />:30 o'clock p. m. in the Commissioners room at the Courthouse in Hillsboro, N. C. <br />he purpose of this meeting is to discuss the 1961-62 budget session. <br />Members present: Chairman Donald Stanford, Commissioners Harvey Bennett, <br />Larence D. Jones, Donald McDade and Henry Walker. <br />Members absent: None <br />The following persons or agencies were heard from: <br />Clerk of Superior Clerk <br />Clerk of Recorder's Court <br />Register of Deeds <br />County Planning Board <br />No action was taken on any of there request, pending completion of all <br />t hearings. <br />Commissioner McDade moved that the application of W. E. Hayes for permission to <br />a fireworks display at Holliday Park on July 4th, be approved.
