Year-to-Date Budget <br /> Summary <br /> PURPOSE: To approve budget, grant and capital ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2020-21. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> County Manager— Food Council <br /> 1. Community Food Strategies has awarded $1,100 to the Orange County Food Council <br /> through a rapid response block grant program aimed at funding food councils for efforts <br /> related to COVID 19 relief especially as it relates to systems change and racial equity. The <br /> Food Council intends to use these funds to support a Food Access Think Tank where <br /> community members who have experienced food insecurity can support the development <br /> of policy and program recommendations to address the root causes of hunger.
