Greene Tract — Presentation and Discussion on Managers/Mayors/Chair Proposal <br /> The Greene Tract is a 104 acre parcel jointly by Orange County, the Town of Carrboro, <br /> and the Town of Chapel Hill. An additional 60 acres is owned by Orange County and <br /> has been designated for preservation as the Headwaters Preserve. The Greene Tract is <br /> located within the Town of Chapel Hill's extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction. In 2002, the <br /> joint owners adopted a resolution to designate 86 acres for open space and 18 acres for <br /> affordable housing. No development has occurred on the jointly owned property since <br /> the adoption of the 2002 Resolution. <br />
