APPROVED 09/03/2019 <br /> MINUTES <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> BUDGET WORK SESSION <br /> June 6, 2019 <br /> 7:00 p.m. <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Thursday, June 6, 2019 <br /> at 7:00 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill, N.C. <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Penny Rich and Commissioners <br /> Jamezetta Bedford, Mark Dorosin, Sally Greene, Earl McKee, Mark Marcoplos and Renee <br /> Price <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: None <br /> COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Bonnie Hammersley, Deputy County <br /> Manager Travis Myren, and Deputy Clerk II Sherri Ingersoll (All other staff members will be <br /> identified appropriately below.) <br /> Chair Rich called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> Travis Myren noted the following items at the Board of County Commissioners' (BOCC) <br /> places: <br /> - Green sheet: requested information regarding Board of County Commissioners dues and <br /> National Association of Counties (NACo) costs <br /> - Purple sheet: Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) changes suggested by staff <br /> - Pink sheet: Suggested amendments to the operating budget <br /> Chair Rich asked if additional amendments can be made before the meeting on June <br /> 11 t" <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said changes can be made until the end of the business day on <br /> June 10. <br /> Chair Rich said it would be best to get amendments to staff before the June 10t" meeting <br /> in case staff needs to do additional research. <br /> 1.
