The statute further states that the governing <br /> body shall promptly initiate any action necessary to bring jail facilities into conformity to <br /> standards. The report for January 10, 2002 is enclosed for review and indicates Orange <br /> County's compliance with standards. <br /> The attached letters detail the Sheriff's and Public Works Department's responses to the <br /> findings of the report. The Sheriff's Office and the Public Works Department have collaborated <br /> and developed a plan to address the maintenance and repair issues detailed in the report. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with accepting the report. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S). - The Manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners <br /> receive the report. Corrective action is being taken as required. <br />
