CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS <br /> <br /> Jonathan Klein called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. Rosemary Summers introduced the staff <br />present. <br /> <br />II. ACTION ITEMS - CONSENT <br /> <br />A. APPROVE AGENDA (June 22, 2000) and MINUTES (May 31, 2000) <br /> <br />The agenda of June 22, 2000 was amended to make the following additions: <br />Section III, B. Item 2. Child Care Consultant Grant <br />Section III, D. Nominating Committee Update <br />Section III, E. Update on School Health <br /> <br />Motion to approve the June 22, 2000 agenda as amended was made by Lee Werley, seconded by <br />Sandra Quinn, and carried without dissent. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the minutes of May 31, 2000 was made by Martha Stucker, seconded by <br />Sandra Quinn and carried without dissent. <br /> <br />III. REPORTS / ACTION FROM COMMITTEES <br /> <br />A. Animal Control and Environmental Health Committee <br /> <br />1. Report on Quality Assessment of Environmental Health <br /> <br />Orange County participated in a quality improvement program that consisted of a site <br />visit by a team of state and regional representatives to local environmental programs. <br />Mr. Andy Adams, Orange County Regional Representative, presented the results of the <br />findings stating that Orange County, although it is understaffed, was a model program to <br />hold up as an example to other counties, the only county to have an active mandated <br />program for on-site wastewater treatment.
