CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS <br /> Vice Chair Janet Southerland called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Rosemary <br />Summers introduced staff and guests present. <br /> <br />II. Action Items <br /> <br />A. APPROVAL OF April 27, 2000 AGENDA and MINUTES (March 23, 2000) <br /> <br />Motion to approve the Agenda of April 27, 2000 was made by Mel Hurston, <br />seconded by Martha Stucker and carried without dissent. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the Minutes of March 24, 2000 as stated was made by <br />Mel Hurston, seconded by Martha Stucker and carried without dissent. <br /> <br />B. Hearing of Laura and Millard Page <br />Rick Marinshaw provided an overview of the case and explained that the basis of <br />denial of the permit was because there was not enough suitable soil for the drain <br />field plus a repair area. Since this was a finding of fact that was compliant with <br />the existing rule, the hearing committee recommended the Board uphold their <br />denial of a permit. The property owners were however, provided information <br />regarding hiring an engineer to design a system or obtaining a permit through the <br />State. <br /> <br />The motion to deny a permit was made by Rick Marinshaw, seconded by <br />Martha Stucker and carried without dissent. <br /> <br />
