CFE Outreach Opportunities / News Articles <br />The CFE will review a revised schedule of proposed news articles intended to educate /inform <br />the public about issues highlighted in the Orange County State of the Environment. The CFE <br />will also resume discussion of participation in upcoming outreach events. (Attachments 3 -4) <br />8:15 V. Clean Power Plan <br />Staff will brief the CFE on efforts around the country to persuade state legislatures to follow <br />through on the Clean Power Plan put forward by the USEPA. The Town of Chapel Hill is among <br />50 or so cities and counties taking a stance on this issue. (Attachment 5) <br />8:35 VI. Committee Meetings <br />The standing committees will review their revised list of priorities, and decide on next steps. <br />(Attachment 6) <br />9:00 VII.
