Alicia Jones stated <br /> that this was the HAP funds. Daniel made a motion to approve the minutes of July 27, 2016 and <br /> Diane Beecham seconded the motion and the minutes were approved unanimously. I <br /> Departmental/County Report <br /> Alicia Jones brought sample packets as discussed previously to the OCHA Board of the Housing <br /> Choice Voucher (HCV) orientation briefing packets that were given to HUD during the <br /> monitoring visit. Alicia Jones explained that the packets are based on the Administrative Plan <br /> I <br /> that requires each applicant receive one when they come in for their orientation briefing. Ms. <br /> Jones introduced Tanya Myers, Temporary Administrative Assistant for Housing, Human Rights <br /> and Community Development who assisted with putting the packets together. Ms. Jones <br /> explained the contents of the packets. Ms. Bolduc commented that it is good to include the <br /> actual forms in the packet so that clients can familiarize themselves with the paperwork. <br /> E <br /> Following the discussion on the briefing packets, Ms. Jones informed the Board that the annual <br /> SEMAP certification has been submitted. <br /> G <br /> Financial Report <br /> In discussion about the financial report, Jean Bolduc commented that vouchers on the street <br /> are down and expressed concerns about the lease up rate. Ms. Jones stated that we have a <br /> problem with available units and clients are having a difficult time finding units. <br /> E_ <br /> C' <br />
