b/9 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> PROCLAMATION OF RECOGNITION ON <br /> CARRBORO HIGH SCHOOL WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM <br /> WINNING THE 2017 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP <br /> WHEREAS, on November 4, 2017, the Carrboro High School Women's <br /> Volleyball Team captured the North Carolina High School Athletic <br /> Association's (NCHSAA) 2A State Championship; and <br /> WHEREAS, under the guidance of Coach Steve Scanga, the Carrboro High <br /> School Women's Volleyball Team earned its second consecutive <br /> NCHSAA title; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lady Jaguars completed the season with a 3 1-0 record, extending <br /> their winning streak to 61 matches; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lady Jaguars brought honor upon themselves, Carrboro High <br /> School, the Chapel Hill/Carrboro City Schools District and Orange <br /> County; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed that the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners expresses its sincere appreciation and respect to the <br /> Carrboro High School Women's Volleyball Team and Coach Steve <br /> Scanga for the Jaguars' outstanding achievement and their <br /> inspiration to youth across North Carolina through their dedication, <br /> teamwork, and athletic prowess. <br /> This the 12th day of December 2017. <br /> Mark Dorosin, air <br /> 17 <br /> * Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> R <br /> orf� (lxralt�a <br />
