5.~o Minutes of the Board of Coa®iasioners <br />Friday, July 22, 1955 <br />The Board of Conaoi seioners of Or¢ngs County met in a special meeting on <br />July 22, 1955, at 8 p.m. called by the Chairman of said Board at the request <br />of the Orgp¢a,QQµp~j+~r~o¢rd of Public Pielfara. Members present: Chairman R. J. <br />lt. Hobbs, m s an , Edwin Lanier and Henry Walker. Members absent <br />Cammisslaner Ihvight Ray. <br />The Board of Public IYelfare was elso present and presented the following <br />requests to the Soerd of Commissioners. <br />1. That a $15.00 monthly deprecation allowance be allowed the <br />Supt and each of the four case workora, making a total of <br />x"900.00 per year. <br />2. That the present salary of Mary Frances Iienion ($220.00 monthly) <br />be raised to $240.00 por month. <br />3. That the present salary of Irma Jean Roberta (y190.00 monthly) <br />be ralsed to x'200.00 per month. <br />The Board of Commis sionora after a discussion on-said.requeats number <br />2 and 3 rominded the Hoard of 47elfare of the imaendiag fob claselflcation <br />program about to get undsr way in the county, and after a ~. to 0 vote <br />reaffirmed its previous position of no salary increases until after a final <br />complet lon of the fob classification program. <br />No other business being brought before the Board the meeting was <br />ad,journe d. <br />R.
