The Clerk submits minutes of meetings held March 21, 26 and 27, 1979 <br /> for Board consideration. <br /> 4. Representatives of Timberlyne Associates will discuss a petition <br /> to rezone which they have filed with the county. <br /> 5. The Planning Board recommends the Preliminary Plan of Garland Acres <br /> Subdivision be approved after incorporation of certain changes. <br /> 6. The Town of Carrboro has requested the Board of Commissioners review <br /> two proposed projects it is developing; a) a new fire,-s-tation and <br /> b) recreation complex , to determine whether or not their facilities <br /> are considered with any community development plans the county might <br /> gave. <br /> 7. The Cumberland Board-of Commissioners is requesting each Board of <br /> Comrr�issioners within the state endorse House Bill 396, which <br /> pro�tides that the state share with the counties of North Carolina <br /> pror;eeds of the Utility Franchise Tax collected outside the <br /> municipalities of our state. <br /> 8. The Department of Transportation requests the Board of Commissioners <br /> concur with their recommendation that Newhope Drive be added to the <br /> state highway system. <br /> 9. The Social Services Director will review a tentative Social Services <br /> budget for the coming fiscal year and request tentative approval by the <br /> Boa 'd of Commissioners of this budget. <br />
