Tharp was no action <br />taken on thane petitions, pending a thorough Snves tigation of each <br />petition by the board and members of the State Highway and Publlc Viorka <br />Commission. <br />The aopllcation of Cecil Broim and Lacy Hatch to retail beer in <br />Orange County was, upon motion, anpro ved. <br />The matter of prohiblting the sale of beer et retell on Bunday'e <br />was discussed but action was deferred until the next regular mee tang, <br />pending 1'ur that invastigati on. <br />IAias Kathryn Ai,ghsmith, F.ome Demonstration Agent enpe ared and pres- <br />ented her monthly report which was nonroved and ordered filed. <br />tAr. lY. T. idattox, Superintendent of Welfare nresented a llat of ell <br />O.A.A. and A.D.C. gr nets end revision of grants handled through hie office <br />for the month of January. <br />E. Et. Lynch, Clerk of Superior Court, presented his annual report, <br />which was approved end ordered filed.
