The Department of Social Services has received notification from the State of additional <br />funds for the current fiscal year for the following programs: <br />a. At -Risk Case Management Services — these additional funds of $8,588 are the result <br />of a recent Federal time reporting cost settlement due to the department. The <br />department will use these funds to offset the costs of currently budgeted personnel <br />services. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these funds. (See <br />Attachment 1, column #1) <br />b. Child Day Care Subsidies — these additional funds of $59,493 will be used to continue <br />to provide child -care subsidies to low- income families. These are funds available due <br />to reversions and from Child Care and Development Fund reallocations, as well as <br />State fiscal year 2003 -04 carry forwards. Currently, there are 1,076 children and their <br />
