~a~ <br />MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 17, 1986 <br />The orange County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on June <br />17, 1986, 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom of the old Post Office, Chapel Hi11, <br />North Carolina. _ <br />BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT• Chair Don Willhoit and Commissioners Shirley <br />Marshall, Moses Carey, Ben Lloyd and Norman Walker.. <br />ATTORNEY PRESENT: Geoffrey Gledhill. <br />STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Kenneth R. Thompson, Assistant County <br />Managers William T. Laws and Albert Kittrell, Director of Emergency Manage- <br />ment Bobby Baker, Clerk to the Board Beverly A. Blythe, Director of Planning <br />Marvin Collins, Purchasing Director Pam Jones and Public Works Director <br />Wilbur McAdoo. <br />A. BOARD COMMENTS - <br />None. <br />B. AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />1. MATTERS ON THE PRINTED AGENDA _ <br />Chair Willhoit indicated that those citizens who wish to comment on } <br />any of the items on the printed agenda will be recognized at the time that ~:;d <br />item is discussed. <br />2. MATTERS NOT ON THE PRINTED AGENDA <br />None. <br />C. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. MEADOW LANE ASSESSMENT ROLE <br />Director of Planning Marvin Collins presented for the receipt of <br />public comment the Preliminary Assessment Roll for meadow Lane (SR 1195). <br />The Clerk to the Board has filed a Certificate of Mailing which certifies <br />that the notices of this public hearing and notices of individual assessment <br />were mailed on or before June 6, 1986. The amount to be assessed includes <br />the local share of the construction costs and project administrative costs. <br />The combined total specified an the adopted Assessment Resolution is <br />$10,514.01. <br />THERE BEING NO PUBLIC COMMENTS, THE. HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br />2. ROLLINGWOOD ROAD AND STALLINGS ROAD ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />Marvin Collins presented for the receipt of public comment the <br />Preliminary Assessment Roll for Rollingwood Road (SR 1194) and Stallings <br />Road !SR 1198). The Clerk to the Board has filed a Certificate of Mailing <br />which certifies that the notices of this public hearing and notices of <br />individual assessments were mailed on or before June 6, 1986.
