R r�. <br /> MINUTES 1 <br /> JULY 1, 1983 <br /> A Special Meeting of the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners with the Town of Hillsborough was held in the <br /> Commissioner's Room, third floor, Orange County Courthouse, <br /> Hillsborough, North Carolina at 12:00 noon on Friday, July 1, <br /> 1983. <br /> All Commissioners were present. <br /> Ken Thompson, County Manager, presented the "Town and <br /> County Sewer Line Agreement" reading all the provisions including <br /> those changes discussed at an earlier meeting. He indicated and <br /> explained the source of funds available. All work will be done on <br /> a contract basis. <br /> Lynwood Brown, Town Water Commissioner indicated that the <br /> cost would be $3.16 per foot for the pipe. However, this cost <br /> will increase if any rock is encountered. <br /> The County agreed to pay the enginering cost with one (1) <br /> engineering company to do the work rather than two (2) firms. The <br /> engineering fees were grant eligible. <br /> The Mayor Of Hillsborough agreed that the county would <br /> charge a tap fee of $200.00 and the town would determine its <br /> charge. <br /> Commissioner Marshall moved and Commissioner Lloyd seconded <br /> the approval of the "Town and County Sewer Line Agreement" with <br /> the noted changes.
