Commissioners present: Richard E. Whitted, Chair, and Commis- <br /> 11. sioners Ben Lloyd, Shirley E. Marshall , and Don Willhoit. <br /> 12. Commissioners absent: Norman Walker. <br /> 13• A. BOARD COMMENTS <br /> 14. Commissioner.Marshall added consideration of the meeting of <br /> 15, April 25th to the agenda and requested a report from either the <br /> 16. Manager or the Planning Department about the status of the airport <br /> 17. public hearing. <br /> 18. B. AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> 19. Dr. Vickers Burdette and Mr. Lance Richards wished to address <br /> 20. the Board about the Wild Animal Control issue. There were no other <br /> 21. comments. <br /> 22. C. MINUTES <br /> �3, Commissioner Marshall moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, <br /> 24• to approve the Minutes of February 21, 1983, as submitted. Vote: <br /> 25. Ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br /> 26. Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Marshall , <br /> 27, to approve the Minutes of March 15, 1983, as corrected. Vote: Ayes, <br /> 28. 4; noes, 0. <br /> 29. D. REPORT-- CLEAN UP LITTER CAMPAIGN <br /> 30. Mr. Wayne Weston, Recreation Director, reported on plans to <br /> 31. observe Clean Up Litter Week in Orange County. He presented <br /> 32. a Joint Proclamation from the Towns of Carrboro and Chapel Hill <br /> 33.- de.signating. the week of April 17th - 23rd C1_ean Up Litter in Orange <br /> 34. County. Commissioner Marshall moved, seconded by Commissioner Lloyd, <br /> 35. to adopt the Proclamation establishing April 17-23, 1983, Clean Up <br /> 36• Litter Week in Orange County (see page of this book for that Pro <br /> 37. clamation) .
