Gordon, Stephen H. Halkiotis, Verla C. Insko and Don <br /> Willhoit. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY PRESENT: Geoffrey Gledhill <br /> STAFF PRESENT: County Manager John M. Link, Jr. , Assistant County <br /> Managers Albert Kittrell and Rod Visser, Economic Development Director Ted <br /> Abernathy, Assistant Public Works Director Mary Barbour, Clerk to the Board <br /> Beverly A. Blythe, Finance Director Ken Chavious, Captain Joe Dickey, Housing <br /> and Community Development Director Tara Fikes, Purchasing Director Pam Jones, <br /> Budget Director Sally Kost, Public Works Director Wilbert McAdoo, Sheriff <br /> Lindy Pendergrass, Fire Marshall Mike Tapp, Major Don Truelove, and EMS <br /> Director Nick Waters, <br /> I. ADDITIONS OR CHANGES TO THE AGENDA <br /> Two appointments for the Commission for Women were added to the <br /> appointment portion of the agenda. <br /> II. AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> A. MATTERS ON THE PRINTED AGENDA <br /> Chair Moses Carey stated that those who have indicated a desire to <br /> speak will be recognized at the appropriate time. <br /> B. MATTERS NOT ON THE PRINTED AGENDA - NONE <br /> PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> Chair Carey dispensed with the ready of the Public Charge. <br /> III. ITEMS FOR DECISION - CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Insko, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Halkiotis to approve those items on the Consent Agenda as stated below: <br /> A. BUDGET ORDINANCE AMENDMENT #5 <br /> The Board approved the following Budget Ordinance amendments and <br /> Capital Project Ordinances: <br /> GENERAL FUND <br /> Source - Intergovernmental $ 3,914 <br /> Appropriation - Human Services 3,914 <br /> (To accept additional State Health Promotion funds) <br />
