Mr. polatty, Planning pi rector, said activity had begun <br />within the Townships but people had stopped attending the planning <br />sessions. <br />Commissioner Barnes said the Board «ceded to decide tonight. ors f:wa <br />issues on which the Commissioners differed with the Planning Board: <br />1) whether or not to extend zoning into Cheeks 'township at the same <br />time all other unincorporated areas of the County are zoned; and, 2) <br />whether membership on the Planning Board will be open to all citizens <br />in the County, including those in the municipalities,.and number of <br />such members. <br />Mr. Polatty said the Zoning Ordinance was comprehensive and to in- <br />clude Cheeks Township or to exclude it would be no problem for the <br />planning staff. A decision was deferred until the arrival of Commissioner <br />Willhoit. <br />The Board directed the planning staff to follow the Board of Com- <br />missione r ' recommendation that membership on the Planning Board be <br />open to all persons living within the County with one member from each <br />Tavrnship and the total number of members on the Planning Board at <br />
