r; • ~'-r: MINUTES ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MARCH 2 , I9~31 The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Monday, March 2, 1981, at 10:00 A.M., in the Commissioners' Room, Orange County Courthouse, Hillsborough, North Carolina. s Commissioners present: Commissioner Anne Barnes, Chair, and Com- missioners Norman Gustaveson, Norman Walker, Richard Whitted, and Don Willhoit. Commissioner Barnes called the meeting to order and presided. Agenda Item 1: Does Any Board Member Desire to Modify this A e_ g_ nda? ..,. ".__ Commissioner Gustaveson said he wished to add two additional items for consideration. A) Volunteer request for UNC Center for Puhlic Television.; and, B) State Budget Analysis which was received last week-- he wished to make an impact analysis part of the County's budget process. Commissioner Willhoit said he wished to ask the 'Chair to write letters - to the members of the Cable T.V. Advisory Committee. Commissioner Barnes said she wished to have the executive session follow the submission of the Minutes on the Agenda. Agenda Item 2: Does_any member of i~he audience desire to _ _ T• .. A. Matters on this agenda: An unidentified citizen asked when agenda item 5 would be considered and the Board replied it didn't know. Commissioner Barnes announced that Mr. Post would speak to agenda item 12, the Proposed Flood Plain Ordinance. and Mr. Hague wished to speak to agenda item 11, Jamasa Estates. B. Matters not on this agenda? There were no comments. Agenda Ttem 3: The Clerk Submits Minutes of Meetin s held anuar 29 and Februar 2, 1981 for Board Commissioner Whitted r~~oved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, the Minutes of January 29, 1981, by approved as submitted. Vote: Ayes, 5; noes, 0. The Board asked the Clerk to send copies of those Minutes to the Orange County and Chapel Hill-Carrboro School Boards.
