r; <br />• ~'-r: <br />MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />MARCH 2 , I9~31 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on <br />Monday, March 2, 1981, at 10:00 A.M., in the Commissioners' Room, <br />Orange County Courthouse, Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br />s <br />Commissioners present: Commissioner Anne Barnes, Chair, and Com- <br />missioners Norman Gustaveson, Norman Walker, Richard Whitted, and Don <br />Willhoit. <br />Commissioner Barnes called the meeting to order and presided. <br />Agenda Item 1: Does Any Board Member Desire to Modify this <br />A e_ g_ nda? ..,. ".__ <br />Commissioner Gustaveson said he wished to add two additional items <br />for consideration. A) Volunteer request for UNC Center for Puhlic <br />Television.; and, B) State Budget Analysis which was received last week-- <br />he wished to make an impact analysis part of the County's budget process. <br />Commissioner Willhoit said he wished to ask the 'Chair to write letters - <br />to the members of the Cable T.V. Advisory Committee. <br />Commissioner Barnes said she wished to have the executive session <br />follow the submission of the Minutes on the Agenda. <br />Agenda Item 2: Does_any member of i~he audience desire to <br />_ _ T• .. <br />A. Matters on this agenda: <br />An unidentified citizen asked when agenda item 5 would be considered and <br />the Board replied it didn't know. Commissioner Barnes announced that Mr. <br />Post would speak to agenda item 12, the Proposed Flood Plain Ordinance. <br />and Mr. Hague wished to speak to agenda item 11, Jamasa Estates. <br />B. Matters not on this agenda? There were no comments. <br />Agenda Ttem 3: The Clerk Submits Minutes of Meetin s held <br />anuar 29 and Februar 2, 1981 for Board <br />Commissioner Whitted r~~oved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, the <br />Minutes of January 29, 1981, by approved as submitted. Vote: Ayes, 5; <br />noes, 0. The Board asked the Clerk to send copies of those Minutes to <br />the Orange County and Chapel Hill-Carrboro School Boards. <br />
