Table of Zoning Ordinance Requirements <br />for Watershed Protection Overlay <br />Districts <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Craig Benedict, Director <br />Perdita Holtz, Planner III <br />245-2592 <br />245-257$ <br />PURPOSE: To hold a public hearing on County initiated amendments to certain Sections of <br />the Zoning Ordinance, the Zoning Atlas, and Chapter 5 of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan Land <br />Use Element Text and Map. Specifically, the following portions of the Zoning Ordinance text are <br />proposed for amendment: <br />• Section 4.2.27 (Watershed Protection Overlay Districts) <br />• Article 22 (Definitions) <br />Application of the text amendments will result in changes to the Watershed Protection Overlay <br />District boundary depicted on the ofi~icial Zoning Atlas and on the Land Use Element Map of the <br />2030 Comprehensive Plan. The proposed text changes in "Track Changes" format are included <br />in Attachments 1 and 2. The existing and proposed Critical Area boundaries are depicted on <br />Map 3.1 in Attachment 3. Map 3.2 depicts areas proposed for inclusion into or removal from the <br />Critical Area designation. <br />BACKGROUND: At the August 24, 2009 Quarterly Public hearing (non-public hearing portion <br />of the agenda); staff presented the proposed work plan to begin implementation of the adopted <br />small area plans.
