County Courthouse, in Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br /> Commissioners present: Commissioner Richard Whitted, Chairman, <br /> and Commissioners Norman Gustaveson, Don Willhoit, Norman Walker, and <br /> Anne Barnes. <br /> The following modifications were made to the agenda: <br /> Delete Agenda Item 9 and add the following items: <br /> Agenda Item 17: Recommendations of Cable TV Citizens Advisory Committee <br /> Agenda Item 18: Bid Results <br /> Agenda Item 19! Report From HSCA Planning Committee <br /> i <br /> Agenda Item 20: Dates for Special Budget Meetings <br /> ' Agenda Item 3: Minutes <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br /> approve the minutes of May 5, 1980, as submitted. Vote: ayes, 5; <br /> f <br /> noes, 0. <br /> Agenda Items 4 & 5: Interstate 40 <br /> Mr. Curtis Booker, Vice Chairman of SHAPE, presented the Board with <br /> 4 <br /> i a check for $1,262.21 for costs incurred to date in connection with <br /> litigation concerning Interstate 40. He expressed his appreciation to the <br /> Board and urged the Commissioners continued support in pursuing the law <br /> suit. <br /> Mr. Ben Lloyd and Mrs. Josephine Barbour had questions about the <br /> amount of legal fees expended thus far in the law suit. <br /> r: <br /> Mr. Booker asked Mr. Bernholz for clarification of a question <br /> - concerning the Court of Appeals' decision. <br /> Mr. Ben Lloyd asked Mr. Bernholz about the success of the law suit <br /> in keeping Interstate 40 out of Orange County. <br /> Agenda Item 6: Executive Session <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> discuss litigation concerning I-40. <br /> to move into executive session to <br /> _ S <br /> 3 <br /> Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br />
