~. r}. <br />_ aP ~' r~ <br />MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BDARD OF COMMI55IONERS <br />APRIL 2, 1979 <br />i <br />x'. <br /> <br />i <br />The Board of Commissioners met in regular session, on Monday, <br />April 2,•1979, at 10:00 a.m., in the Commissioners Room, of the <br />Orange County Courthouse, in Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br />Commissioners present: Commissioner Richard Whitted, Chairman, <br />and Commissioners Norman Walker, Norman Gustaveson, Don Willhoit, and <br />Anne Barnes. <br />The following items were added to the agenda: <br />Agenda Item 17: Executive Session <br />Agenda Item 18: Discussion Concerning Joint Meeting with <br />Chapel Hill Aldermen on April 17, 1979 <br />The Chairman announced a public meeting with the Department of <br />Transportation concerning secondary roads would be held at the Board's <br />regular meeting on April 23, 1979, at 7:30 p.m. <br />Agenda Item 2: Items of Public Concern <br />No member of the audience wished to address the Board on items <br />of public concern. <br />Agenda Item 3: Minutes <br />Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br />to approve the minutes of the joint meeting with OWASA on.March 21, 1979. <br />Uote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br />Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br />approve the minutes of the joint meeting with the Carrboro Aldermen on <br />March 21, 1979, as corrected. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br />to approve the minutes of March 26, 1979, as corrected. Vote: ayes, 5; <br />noes, 0. <br />Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br />to approve the minutes of March 27, 1979, as corrected. Vote: ayes, <br />Commissioners Barnes, Willhoit, Whitted and Walker; noes, Commissioner <br />Gustaveson. <br />
