4~~~ MINUTES ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 20, 1979 The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, February 20, at 7:30 p.m., in the Superior Court Room, of the Orange County Courthouse, Hillsborough, North Carolina. Members present: Commissioners Richard Whitted, Norman Walker, Norman Gustaveson, Don Willhoit and Anne Barnes. -. The following items were added to the agenda: Agenda Item 14: Report from Subcommittee Agenda Item 3: Public Hearin The Chairman calT.ed for a public hearing to consider a Final. .: Assessment Resolution for financing certain paving assessments in the Colonial Hills area.and called for public input on whether the State improvements should be assessed on a front footage basis rather than on a per acre or lot basis. Mrs. King, a resident of Colonial Hills, spoke in favor of assessment _ on a front footage basis. No other person in the audience spoke for or against assessment on a front footage basis. Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, the Board adopt "Final Assessment Resolution Adopted b.y the Orange County Board of Commissioners to Finance the Local Share of the Costs of Paving North Carolina State Road #1819, Also Known as Adam's Place; North Carolina State Road X1820, Also Known as Jefferson Drive; North Carolina State Road X1821, Also Known as Washington Drive; and North Carolina State Road X1822, Also Known as Kennedy Circle, in Eno Township, Orange County, North Carolina.".Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0.
