The intent is to begin in-house sterilization by the end of <br />October 2009 based upon other contracts for veterinarian services. The <br />budgeted amount for all of the spay/neuter contracts is $47,920. <br />• North Churton Street Animal Hospital, Dr James Miller-Provide <br />spay/neuter surgery services for adopted and adoptable cats and dogs <br />at the unit price of $63 per animal. <br />• Nicks Road Clinic, Dr. Marat Dubrovsky-Provide spay/neuter surgery <br />services for adopted and adoptable cats and dogs at the unit price of <br />$63 per animal. <br />Other Expenditure Contracts <br />• Animal Kind- Administers a pet spay/neuter financial assistance <br />program for low-income Orange County residents for up to $15,000 for <br />the fiscal year. The County pays the actual cost of the surgery plus an <br />administrative fee of $5.00 per procedure, which when added together <br />shall be no more than an average of $95 for each spay/neuter surgery. <br />Dr. Claudia Shepherd-Consulting animal sheltering veterinarian <br />budgeted for $19,000 and paid at an hourly rate of $40. <br />Revenue Contracts <br />• Town of Chapel Hill-Provide the Town of Chapel Hill with animal <br />• control and after hour emergency service. <br />Contract Amount - $75,000 <br />
