Cameron Street <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Re: Eno Haven Apartments <br />Dear Mr. Jacobs: <br />As you are aware, TBLF Eno Haven, LLC, in conjunction with The Banks Law <br />Firm, P.A., has been awarded Low Income Housing Tax Credits to develop Eno Haven, a <br />90 unit affordable rental community in Hillsborough. As you aze also aware, Eno Haven <br />has been approved fora $1,000,000 Orange County Bond Loan to assist in financing the <br />construction of the development. The purpose of this correspondence is to provide full <br />disclosure regazding an associate of this law firm. <br />Specifically, Jabrina Robinson is an attorney at The Banks Law Firm, P.A. She is <br />also a volunteer member of the Orange County Affordable Housing Advisory Boazd <br />("ARAB") and Project Review and Selection (PRS) Committee for the Orange County <br />Affordable Housing Bond Program. Therefore, TBLF Eno Haven, LLC and The Banks <br />Law Firm, P.A. would like to fully disclose this fact in the spirit of compliance with <br />general governmental conflict of interest provisions. Please be advised that as a result of <br />her affiliation with the law firm, upon consultation with County staff, Attorney Robinson <br />did not participate in the PRS Committee review of our bond application nor the <br />recommendation for approval. Since that time she has not been involved in further <br />negotiations with the County after bond funds were awarded to Eno Haven. Thus, her <br />non-participation in this project in the manner stated above provides evidence that her <br />affiliation with this firm does not constitute a conflict of interest. <br />Thank you and the members of the Board of County Commissioners for your <br />support of the Eno Haven project.
