Chapel Hi11 119 32A <br />The Board after aonaidering th®ee app®als took the following lotion: <br />The .appeals of Mr. and Mrs. Blake were held in abeyance for further <br />aonaideration; the appeal of Mr. Whitfield of the assessment oP parcel 35-12A <br />was;to be resolved at a later meeting, while the present assessment of <br />parcel 35-13 wag deemed proper by the Board; Mr. Jones did not appear; <br />_. nevertheless, his appeal was heard and the assessment on his lot 5A was <br />reduced from $1,300 to $900 while the asaeaement of lot 6 wsa reduced from <br />$15,500 to $1 ,300; the assessment of Mr. awd Mra. Hawkina~ property was <br />reduced Prom 10,!}00 to $8,100; resolution oP the appeals of Bennett and <br />Bloakaidge was postponed Por further study; the assessment oP Mr. H. D. <br />Beanett~a property wsa deemed correct by the Board• the valuation of the <br />lot owned by Mr. and Mre. Mullen was reduced from 8,100 to $1.,000; the <br />appeals of the Ridgewood Club of Chapel Hill, Ino. and the E. C. Martindale Chapel Hi11 <br />The Board took the following aotion on the above appeals: <br />The appeal of Mr. Simmons was not resolved pending further study; the <br />assessment of the property Por which Mr. Ivan H111 serves as trustee was <br />reduced by the Board from $11;0,200 to $95,300; the Board resnhed no decision <br />- on the appeal of Mr. tames W. Lester to allow more study of this assessment; <br />the assessment of the property of Triem, Ino. was reduced from $16!},500 to <br />$153,000; resolution of appeals by Mr. M.
