Solid Waste Enterprise <br /> Fund Operations Center <br /> Capital Project Ordinance <br /> PURPOSE: To approve budget, capital project ordinance, County fee schedule amendments for <br /> FY 2008-09. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Board of Elections <br /> 1. The Orange County Board of Elections has received Help America Vote Act (HAVA) <br /> reimbursement funds of $68,801 from the State Board of Elections. These funds <br /> provide reimbursement for County costs associated with One-Stop voting sites during <br /> the 2008 General Election. (See Attachment 1, column #1) <br /> Health Department <br /> 2. The Orange County Health Department has received additional federal Title X Family <br /> Planning funds totaling $4,628. The department plans to use these funds to offset <br /> County costs associated with operating family planning clinics. This budget amendment <br /> provides for the receipt of these funds. <br />
