NORTH CAROLINA <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENT #4 <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br /> <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACT AMENDMENT (“Amendment”) is made and entered into this 22nd day of June, 2026 by and <br />between ORANGE COUNTY (hereinafter referred to as “County”) and Clarion Associates, LLC (hereinafter referred <br />to as “Provider”). <br /> <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />THAT WHEREAS, the County and Provider entered into a contract dated May 22, 2023, (hereinafter the “Original <br />Agreement”), for the provision of services for developing a Comprehensive Land Use Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County and Provider desire to amend the Original Agreement while keeping in effect all terms and <br />conditions of the Original Agreement not inconsistent with the terms and conditions set forth below. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements made herein, the parties agree to <br />amend the Original Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. The term of this Agreement shall be from date of contract execution to December 31, 2027. <br /> <br />2. “Attachment A3: Deliverable and Fee Schedule” shall be replaced in its entirety with “Attachment A4: Fourth <br />Update to Deliverable and Fee Schedule”. <br /> <br />3. The compensation for the additional work included in this Amendment shall be fifty eight thousand eight <br />hundred fifty five dollars ($58,855). Article 5 of the Original Agreement is amended to reflect a maximum <br />payable not-to-exceed amount of two hundred ninety nine thousand five hundred eighty nine dollars <br />($299,589). <br /> <br />4. Except for the changes made herein, the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect to the extent <br />it is not inconsistent with this Amendment.
