At that time, the Board <br /> considered options for enhancing collaboration with residents, including the creation of project- <br /> based stakeholder groups and the implementation of quarterly updates to the BOCC. <br /> This item provides an opportunity for the Board to continue the discussion, with a particular focus <br /> on potential approaches to community listening sessions. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GUIDING PRINCIPLE — COMMUNICATION AND AWARENESS <br /> We provide information and opportunities for engagement in a transparent manner so that <br /> all in our community have knowledge, understanding, and a voice. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board continue its discussion on <br /> potential approaches to the County's strategic communications initiatives and specifically provide <br /> direction to staff regarding community listening sessions, including the role of Board members. <br />
