This contract will also consolidate and co-term three (3) <br /> existing agreements. <br /> BACKGROUND: As the County has expanded its server computing capabilities in recent years, <br /> additional contracts were executed for server licensing and support. The County currently <br /> maintains three (3) separate contracts with different renewal dates. This agreement consolidates <br /> and co-terms the three contracts into a single agreement ending March 14, 2028. This purchase <br /> is being made under an exception to the competitive bidding requirements through the NC <br /> Department of Information Technology (DIT) State Contract Number 204X — IT Infrastructure <br /> Solutions. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The total cost in FY 2026 is $225,552.88. There will be no additional cost <br /> in FY 2027. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: While not tied to a specific strategic goal, this contract <br /> supports the County's technical infrastructure, which enables efficient service delivery to <br /> residents. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve and authorize the <br /> Manager to execute the multi-year maintenance and support contract as well as any future <br /> amendments. <br />
