Rosemary St., Carrboro <br /> 1) Call to Order by Anita Mills at 6:34pm <br /> 2) Approval of August 2022 Board Minutes — Crystal Moved and Lindsay <br /> seconded. All in favor to approve. <br /> 3) Board member updates by Katie Murray <br /> a. Appointment of Josh Rosenstein — going before Orange County <br /> Commissioners at their next meeting <br /> b. Board resignations & needs <br /> i. Jenny Schultz is new Exec Director at Arts Center and has <br /> applied for our board and the Orange County Tourism Board. <br /> May take until November to get through all the reviews and <br /> approval process. <br /> ii. Two other resignations — Brad Porter is resigning because of <br /> increased commitments. Sarah Shore is resigning due to other <br /> job opportunities. She will be planning the UPROAR kick <br /> off/closing parties so will still be working closely with us. We <br /> would like to have a musician join our board to fill that <br /> representation slot Brad held. <br /> 4) Director's Report Katie Murray <br /> a. Executive Coach — The Alliance has hired Zemo Trevathan as an <br /> executive coach for Katie to develop and enhance her business skills. <br /> First meetings have taken place. <br /> b. Paint it Orange — kick off meeting invite will be coming with an RSVP <br /> for the Paint It Orange Harvest Moon Party on Wed, October 5t" at <br /> Ramble Mill Farm <br /> c. Grants Presentation will take place on Tuesday 10/18 at 7pm at the <br /> Orange County Commissioner meeting. Board members please attend <br /> the meeting at the Whitted Building in Hillsborough if you can. Also, <br /> that night, will be the Arts and Humanities month proclamations and a <br /> one-year anniversary update of the Eno Mill. <br /> d. Eno Mill Update: <br /> i. We need volunteers for Oct 7 opening. Please volunteer! <br />
