PowerPoint Presentation <br /> PURPOSE: To hold a public hearing, receive the Planning Board and staff recommendations, <br /> and public comment, close the public hearing, and consider action on a County-initiated Zoning <br /> Atlas Amendment to rezone +/- 69.58 acres (PIN: 9863-28-1858) located at 1125 New Grady <br /> Brown School Road, Hillsborough, within the Hillsborough Township of Orange County. The <br /> proposed rezoning is: <br /> FROM: R-1 (Rural Residential) <br /> TO: NR-CD (Non-Residential Conditional District) <br /> BACKGROUND: A Conditional Zoning Atlas Amendment application (Attachment 1) was <br /> received proposing to rezone approximately 69.58 acres of property at 1125 New Grady Brown <br /> School Road, Hillsborough. Orange County is the property owner on record of Cedar Ridge <br /> High School, which is located on the parcel. The Staff Report in Attachment 2 contains <br /> additional information, maps, and analysis in regard to the application's consistency with <br /> County-adopted plans. Approval of a site-specific plan is part of the conditional district rezoning <br /> process, and the site plan and any agreed-upon conditions are binding to the development <br /> permitted for the zoning district. <br />
