Revised 01/24 <br />1 <br /> [Departmental Use Only] <br /> TITLE Old Jail Remediation <br /> FY FY 2024-2025 <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT NO RFP/RFQ <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br /> <br /> This Services Agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”), made and entered into this 1st day of <br />April, 2025, (“Effective Date”) by and between Orange County, North Carolina a political <br />subdivision of the State of North Carolina (hereinafter, the "County") and Sasser Restoration, <br />(hereinafter, the "Provider"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> That the County and Provider, for the consideration herein named, do hereby agree as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Services <br /> <br />a. Scope of Work. <br /> <br />i) This Agreement is for services to be rendered by Provider to County with respect <br />to (insert type of project): <br />ii) Scope of work is based off the written protocol by Scott D. Rohlf and a visual <br />inspection that was completed on 3.10.25. Remediation work will be performed in <br />the following areas: • Basement • Mechanical room • Additional storage room. <br />Remediation Services: • Construct containment with 6 mil poly to prevent <br />dust/particulates from exiting work area and affecting non-affected areas. o All <br />cracks, crevasse, windows or any entry points will be sealed off with 6 mil poly and <br />tape. Containment will be constructed around the shelves after performing the <br />cleaning process. • Installed negative pressure on containments utilizing engineering <br />controls (Air Scrubbers) o Utilize exterior door for negative pressure. • Clean all <br />rooms based on Hygienist scope. Hepa sandwich (Hepa vacuum/Damp Wipe/Hepa <br />vacuum again) o Walls/Floors/Furniture/Evidence boxes will be cleaned Walls <br />will be cleaned up to 6’ from floor (Hygienist protocol) • ULV Fogging with <br />Benefect antimicrobial will occur every day before the team departs for the day to <br />control dust/particulates. o Air scrubbers will be turned off during the fogging <br />process. • Once the cleaning stage has been completed the team will detach air <br />scrubbers from negative and place them under neutral pressure and change pre and <br />pleated filters. Air scrubbers will run on neutral for at least 24 hours before PRV <br />testing takes place. • All personnel will wear the appropriate PPE during the <br />remediation process. • Debris Disposal.
