Whitted, and Commissioners Norm <br />Gustaveson, Shirley E. Marshall, Norman Walker and Don Willhoit. <br />A. Board Caamertts <br />Commissioner~Ma sr ah 11 added a procedural request regarding public hearing <br />minutes; Cannis toner Willhoit added an informational item regarding the decision <br />of the JOCCA rd of Directors to drop the Headstart program, consideration of <br />the extension o~ inning to Cheeks Township and a Resolution submitted to NCACC. <br />Commissioner Walker added an announcement regarding the shining of lights for deer <br />hunting. Commi stoner Whitted added three items: 1) jail facility change order; <br />2) Clean Water and Grant; and, 3) Certification of the New Hope Fire- Department <br />roster. <br />B. Audience Comments <br />There were o audience comments about items either on the agenda or not on the <br />agenda. <br />C. MINUTES <br />The Board asked that the minutes of May 18 and 24, 1982, be returned to a <br />subsequent agen}fa. <br />Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Marshall, to approve <br />the minutes of i y 19, 1982, as corrected. Yote: Ayes, 5; noes, D. <br />Commissionelr Marshall moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, to approve <br />the minutes of Tune 7, 1982 as corrected. Yote: Ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br />Comrissione Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Marshall to approve the <br />minutes of July 1, 1982, as submitted. Vote: ayes, 5; noes. 0, <br />D. PRESENT~ITION BY REPRESENTATIVE BARNES <br />Representative Barnes told the Board that HB 1584, appropriating funds for the <br />Old Courthouse Iliad passed the Legislature; she read the letter from the~State <br />Budget Office t~I^ansmitting the check to the County and said we now had the money <br />in hand.
