Box 8181 <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Dear Donna: <br />It is the intent of the Caldwell (Little River) Fire Department to purchase a fire truck. <br />The truck is currently out on a bidding process that should not exceed $240,000.00. We <br />ran the public hearing notice last Wednesday, November 26~' and we have set the public <br />hearing for December 4, 2008. Once we have our public hearing, we will forward all <br />corresponding paperwork to your office on December 5, 2008. <br />We are also requesting Commissioners to appropriate $20,000 from our district's fund <br />balance.
