i~ <br />• A statement signed by the forester acknowledging that management activities follow the <br />terms of the easement and will be supervised by the forester; <br />Grantee's approval of the Forest Management Plan or Harvest Plan shall not be unreasonably <br />withheld, but may be withheld or conditioned if prescribed actions may compromise the Conservation <br />Values, or if it does not adequately address all required items listed above or other issues pertinent to the <br />intent of this Easement. <br />All forest management activities shall be conducted in accordance with North Carolina Division <br />of Forest Resources' Best Management Practices guidelines for timber harvest and management, <br />including the application of fertilizer, pesticides or herbicides, as the same may be promulgated by law or <br />regulation in the state of North Carolina and as adopted by the North Carolina .organization of <br />professional foresters. <br />KCBCM: 252126.5 <br />15 <br />
