Does the county permit any sort of structure inside the stream buffer? <br />Glenn Bowies: No, unless it is a road. <br />Michelle Kempinski: Technically, for this plan, the building set back line indicates the area that you cannot <br />build outside of. Whether it is a requirement for a 10 foot set back on the side or right of way for a road. <br />The set back lines cross over into the stream buffer and would it make sense to follow the edge of the <br />stream buffer. <br />Glenn Bowies: If that were your preference, we could handle that. <br />Larry Wright: There are soils for suitable septic areas that overlap with the stream buffer too. <br />Glenn Bowles: As staff, we tend to discourage that situation. The only way it can be accomplished would <br />be through <br />Lary Wright; What do you mean by accomplished? Put one in there? <br />Glenn Bowles: They are being honest and showing the appropriate soils are in relationship to those <br />setbacks and stream buffers. We discourage the placement of ground absorption fields and repair fields in <br />those areas. <br />Larry Wright: I think that would be advisable because when an inspector goes there, do they have <br />information on stream buffers? <br />Glenn Bowles: No but they call me. <br />Jay Bryan: That would be to discourage what aspect? <br />Glenn Bowies: Placing septic ground absorption systems in regulated stream buffers. <br />
