Although there are currently no bicycle <br />22 lanes on Orange County roads outside municipalities, Orange County <br />23 has been able to obtain modest improvements for bicycles, such as <br />24 two-foot paved shoulders on secondary roads, through NCDOT <br />2s programs for resurfacin_q roads and spot safety projects A State <br />26 Transportation Improvement Program project that will identify popular <br />27 cyclin_q routes on an Orange County Bike Map is underway, and <br />28 should be completed by the end of 2008.
