Maine <br />• C &D waste can be buried on site under the following conditions: (1) the waste must be <br />buried on the same parcel of land in which it was generated; (2) the burial site must be <br />smaller than one acre. <br />Massachusetts <br />•C &D waste can never be buried on site, with the exception of some land clearing waste <br />(stumps, trees, brush, etc.) Before these wastes can be buried on site, a developer must <br />apply for a Site Assignment permit from the local board of health. <br />Michigan <br />• C &D waste can be buried on -site. <br />Missouri <br />• C &D waste can be buried on -site, subject to the following limit: <br />(1) any area receiving only uncontaminated soil, rock, sand, gravel, concrete <br />with minimal rebar, asphaltic concrete, cinder blocks and bricks for fill or <br />reclamation, need not obtain a permit to dispose of such wastes on site; <br />(2) the disposal by an individual of solid wastes resulting from his/her own <br />residential activities on property owned or lawfully occupied by him/her, <br />does not require a permit prior to disposal of such wastes. This does not <br />include remodeling, but only <br />If a contractor wishes to bury anything on site other than these materials, the <br />contractor must first contact the Department of Natural Resources. <br />Nebraska <br />• C &D waste may be buried on site, as long as it is buried directly below the foundation <br />of the house. <br />
