The study was created in response to the community's expressed interest in 13) 5-13 21-22 maintaining the community character of Efland and was completed with a BOCC 7/9/2008 great deal of citizen support. The study included an informal citizen survey, a citizen-appointed Steering Committee, and seven community meetings. The result of the study were recommendations that the "community as a whole felt were important to the future of Efland." This plan was approved by the County Commissioners in April 1991.
