17 <br />Objective T-4.1: <br />Work with nearby jurisdictions to integrate the County's transportation plans with <br />those of other transportation planning agencies and service providers in Orange <br />County and the Triangle region. The resulting intermodal transportation system <br />should reflect regional goals and objectives to meet projected travel demand and <br />to reduce congestion and reliance on single occupancy vehicles. <br />Objective T-4.2: <br />Plan and integrate the County's multi-modal transportation routes and services <br />with regional transportation agencies and transit service providers, agencies and <br />transit providers in neighboring counties, the North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation, Amtrak, and the North Carolina Railroad. <br />Objective T-4.3: <br />Revive rail transportation in Orange County and the Triangle region. <br />
