Remove shoe molding. Place felt paper <br />in low areas to level floor and install %a" lauan plywood. Install a <br />new vinyl floor. The vinyl to cost not less than $ 18.00 sq. yard. <br />Install metal trim where vinyl meets hardwood or carpet. <br />Note: Vinyl to extend into hall closet. <br />Page 7 <br />2. Install new shoe molding in the hall. New shoe molding to match <br />existing baseboard finish as close as possible. <br />3. Install a disappearing stairway in the hall. Refer to Rehabilitation <br />Specialist for location. Frame opening with double header per code. <br />Install ledger or joist hangers for ceiling joists. Install casing around <br />door. NOTE: Stairway to square in opening and to open and close <br />properly. Prime and paint door and casing with oil primer and latex <br />paint. paint to cover completely. <br />4. Remove the existing crown molding in the hall. Install new 3 inch <br />crown molding. NOTE: All walls lengths less than 16 ft shall be <br />installed in one section. All corners to be properly mitered or 45 <br />degree. All nails holes to be filled with putty. Prime new trim with <br />an oil based primer. Paint trim with semi-gloss latex paint. <br />LIVING ROOM: <br />1. Install all necessary trim to properly finish window. Install matching <br />casing, window stool and apron. Prime new trim with an oil based <br />primer. <br />2. Remove a 6'x 4' section of damaged sub-floor at the front door. <br />Replace with pressure treated plywood. <br />BATHROOM: <br />1. Remove the commode, sink, wall covering/tile to the framing. <br />Install blocking in tub/shower area for grab bars. Consult owner <br />for grab bar location. Install all necessary framing for wall mount <br />sink. NOTE: Protect tub when removing tile. <br /> <br />
