Orange High School is committed to recruiting high school students to work on
this project. We intend to use this project as a service learning opportunity for students
interested in research and development in the solar energy field. We would prefer that
the the project take place during the fall of 1999, but we will work with the planning team
on their seasonal issues if needed.
We would like to use one of the bicycles for our resource officer stationed at Orange
High School to ride on campus. We think this would be the perfect opportunity to model
solar bicycling use in a practical application.
We believe this will be an exciting and worthwhile learning experience for our students.
Sincerely,
7
Lynn P. Moody
Workforce Development Director
