I have also included previous correspondence about a third nomination from August that <br />has been deferred, so you will have them all in the same place. <br />Could please let me know that you have received them and when the nominations might be heard? <br />Nomination for Janet Zager: <br />The nominating committee for the Orange Couniy Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee <br />has nominated Janet Zager for an open position on the committee. The greater committee supports this <br />nomination. <br />Ms. Zager has served her community in many ways over her lifetime and has recently moved to <br />Carrboro. She is looking forwani to volunteering in our community. Her previous experience volunteering <br />with residents in long term care has provided an understanding and compassion for helping to advocate <br />for the needs of older adults. The committee members are pleased she has chosen this committee as a <br />means of continuing her valued community service. <br />Nomination for Julie Lochridsre: <br />The nominating committee for the Orange County Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee <br />has nominated Julie Lochridge for an open position on the committee. The greater committee agreed to <br />this nomination. <br />Ms. Lochridge has led and served in many capacities in other volunteer organizations. Through her work <br />as a facilitator of many support groups for caregivers and Alzheimer's disease, she has gained an <br />understanding and compassion for the needs of older adults. She brings the energy of an ardent <br />advocate. She is looking forward to volunteering in our community. The committee members are <br />pleased she has chosen this committee as a means of continuing her valued community service. <br />Previous nomination for Wendy Gellert: <br />Exceipfed firom my August 8 email: <br />The Orange Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee (OACHCAC) wishes to nominate <br />Wendy Gellert for appointment to the Committee. This information has been forwarded by Laura <br />DeLoye, Past Chair, and Peggy Cohn, Acting Chair. The nominating committee for the Orange County <br />Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee has nominated Wendy Gellert for an open position on <br />the committee. This nomination was agreed to by the greater committee. Ms. Gellert has served in <br />many volunteer organizations and has recently relocated to the Hillsborough area, looking forward to <br />volunteering in the community. She has an understanding and compassion for helping to advocate for <br />the needs of older adults.
